Therapy With Stacey
I’m Stacey, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over four years of clinical experience, supporting individuals through growth, healing, and life transitions. I was born in the U.S. and raised in Ecuador, where I lived for 15 years before my family returned to the U.S. due to financial hardship. Navigating that transition deeply shaped my understanding of resilience, adaptability, and the power of support—values that guide my work today.
My Path to Mental Health
Before finding my calling, I explored several career paths and attended multiple colleges. Everything changed when I volunteered at The Door Youth Center, a nonprofit in Manhattan serving young people in need. That experience opened my eyes to the gaps in support within my community and helped me recognize my own privilege. It was there that I felt called to use my voice, education, and lived experience to support others. In 2019, I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health and Wellness from NYU Steinhardt. I went on to work as an intern and then a full-time clinician at the Child Center of New York, supporting children, teens, and adults for three years. After becoming licensed, I launched my virtual private practice—one of the most meaningful and rewarding steps in my career.
My Therapeutic Style 🤍

I value honesty, punctuality, and mutual respect, as these create a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. While structure matters to me, I always adapt our work to your pace, needs, and goals.

My Mission
My purpose is to empower my Latina and Hispanic sisters to use their voices, to take up the space we deserve, and to demand respect from all institutions and individuals who try to minimize us. I want every woman to recognize her worth, trust herself, and feel safe claiming what belongs to her: her space, her ideas, and her rights. I believe every voice matters, and that our power lies in daring to express ourselves with clarity, authenticity, and confidence.
Additionally, I seek to support you in building a full and healthy life where your physical and emotional well-being are in balance. This includes relationships grounded in respect and peace—with friends, partners, family members—but above all, with yourself. I want you to learn how to prioritize yourself, care for yourself without guilt, and enjoy each moment with awareness and gratitude, cultivating calm and joy in your daily life.
Finally, my mission is to help you cultivate the self-love that many of us were never taught, to set clear boundaries, and to maintain authentic and lasting relationships. Through therapy, guidance, and practical tools, I want to walk alongside you on this journey of self-discovery, resilience, and empowerment. So that you can live with confidence, clarity, and the certainty that your voice matters, your space is valuable, and your well-being is a non-negotiable priority.
If you’re ready to begin your journey toward self-love, clarity, and empowerment, I invite you to take the next step: contact me. Together, we can create a safe space where you can explore your goals, strengthen your voice, and build the life you deserve. I’m here to support you every step of the way, celebrate your achievements, and be there when you need it most.
